Welcome to My World / Bienvenidos a mi Mundo is Danisarte’s ongoing bilingual web series featuring heartfelt, intimate conversations with international artists from diverse cultures and disciplines. Presented in both English and Spanish, these interviews explore the personal stories, resilience, and "hidden treasures" that define our global community—from the stages of Spain and Tibet to the creative hearts of Brazil and Venezuela. Hosted by Alicia Kaplan, the series celebrates the creativity and shared human experience that inspires our world today.

A warm and intimate conversation with Gustavo Ott, a renowned playwright, journalist, and Artistic Director, first in Venezuela and then in Dallas, Texas. In Spanish & English. The Award-Winning Gala Hispanic Theatre (Teatro Gala) was co-founded by Hugo Medrano and Rebecca Medrano in Washington, D.C., almost fifty years ago. Alicia Kaplan remembers appearing as an actress in Gustavo's play "Divorciadas, Evangelicas y Vegetarianas" with Miriam Cruz and Marta de la Cruz, directed by Luis Caballero at Margarita Toirac's Latin American Theatre Ensemble (El Portón del Barrio).

Remembering Ruth Antonofsky

Remembering my Mama Ruth Antonofsky is a tribute to Alicia Kaplan's mother, via a heartfelt short film and a recorded conversation between Alicia and Ruth interspersed with pictures about her life, her voyage from New York to Caracas, Venezuela, where she became an artist, her children and grandchildren, her return to New York, a second marriage to the love of her life, and a New York career in the entertainment field.

An interview with the fabulous Spanish actress Ruth Gabriel. She has performed in theatre, television, and films. Presently she also participates as a host of a radio show and conducts professional workshops.

From Tibet, Kunjue is a lovely, intelligent and talented actress. She stars in the film "Art of Love" from the novel "Simone" by Eduardo Lalo. The latest from Director Betty Kaplan. Filmed entirely in Puerto Rico, we feel that she gives an Oscar-worthy performance. A mysterious erotic and haunting love story.

Episode: Actress Lupita Ferrer

Lupita Ferrer, from Maracaibo, Venezuela crossed paths with Alicia at the Ballet School of Nina Novak where both were studying ballet. Lupita has a theatrical background, playing the role of Ofelia in "Hamlet" at the age of 15, and later Rosita in Lorca's "Dona Rosita la Soltera". She has worked in many Mexican and Venezuelan-Mexican co-productions. Most notably with Mario Moreno Cantinflas. Her most famous telenovelas were "Esmeralda" and "Cristal". Her best-known Hollywood film is "Los Hijos de Sanchez" with Anthony Quinn.

L.A. Post-Punk band Agender (Romy Hoffman, Sara Rivas, Cristy Michel & Christy Greenwood) live at Zebulon in Los Angeles. Described by lead singer Romy Hoffman as Schizo synthy punchy post-punk with a dash of dysmorphic desire, existential terror hurrah and a fetish for femininity.
